Christmas Watering Can

I just love this watering can pattern and tutorial by Helen Orr for Splitcoast Stampers here. It is so cute and I can't wait to give some away for Christmas. I probably will fill it with candy or maybe a couple of drawer sachets topped with a few flowers. I have a photo of it unfilled at the end of this post. I used Baroque Motifs stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Silver embossing powder on Stampin' Up! Brushed Silver card stock. I thought it turned out very nicely. What do you think? You can click on the photo for a larger view.

Because my printer wouldn't let the Brushed Silver card stock run through it, I printed on regular copy paper. Then I used the mono adhesive to temporarily adhere it to the Brushed Silver.

I cut the pieces out leaving the pattern on top and then scored over the lines where indicated. I thought this would be a little harder, but it isn't and it makes such a cute box!

Turned out beautifully Tammy. Thanks for the template tips. I'll have to give this a try once my printer is up and working again.

Love it! I have the pattern too but did not make for Christmas but I like the embossing and satin bow w/ pinecones. Great Job. TFS
