Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I tried to copy and paste George Washington's 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation, but couldn't get it to paste to blogger. So here is the link http://www.earlyamerica.com/earlyamerica/firsts/thanksgiving/thankstext.html

Very interesting to read.

I want to thank the Lord for my salvation and all His provision to me and my family. I thank Him for my wonderful husband, sons, daughters (soon-to-be), and rest of my family. Thank you Lord!

Here is an old card share.

Stampin' Up! Branch Out Masculine Birthday Card

Branch Out is on the dormant list so you want see it in the 2009/10 Catalog. I love how quickly you can create cards with this set. I needed a birthday card for my nephew. I chose Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, and Naturals White. The inks are Not Quite Navy, Close to Cocoa, and Old Olive. I used the Texturz Plates Kit #4 in the Big Shot. To get a deeper impression you can see the stack I used in this blog post here. I used Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment. Modern Label and Word Window punches were used. Have a great day!

Stampin' Up! Medallion Christmas Card Case

I cased this card from here. I love the Medallion stamp set. I purposely did not get a good impression. I thought it added character to the card. I used the Modern Label and Word Window punches, Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry card stock, Teeny Ting Wishes stamp set, a jumbo brad, and the Polka Dot Rich Razzleberry ribbon. Isn't that ribbon cute and the other side is plain so you can use it either way! Love how Stampin' Up! products coordinate. Makes creating cards so easy.

Stampin' Up! Delightful Decorations Christmas Card in Old Olive

Using the same card idea as the post on 11/16/09, I changed the color of the card base to Old Olive. I like this one better than the Real Red, because I can see the background stamping more clearly. I used the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Paper available in the Holiday Mini until January 4, 2010. The flocking on this is so pretty! The stamp set, Delightful Decorations and the Ornament punch are also in that same mini. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a very versatile set. I used Whisper White card stock to punch the ornament cap. You can see how I did that below. You can use this punch to make a vase. Just don't insert the card stock all the way in. Then it looks like a vase. I have seen other uses for this punch like making flowers. Great punch to have around. Of course, I love all my punches and don't think you can have too many. LOL The white line is drawn with the Signo gel pen and a ruler. Hope you have a great stampin' day!

Stampin' Up! Delightful Decorations Christmas Card

Christmas is my favorite holiday. Today's card is a simple card to make. I got this idea from Stampin' Success, a monthly magazine Stampin' Up! provides to its demonstrators. I used Delightful Decorations stamp set, Real Red and Whisper White card stock, Old Olive, Real Red, and Chocolate Chip inks. The white line is made with the White Gel Pen Stampin' Up! sells. I use this pen often. I love that I can use it in my scrapbooks on dark background papers. This would be a great card to make lots for all your friends and family.
