Tarheel Stamper - Baby Monkey Card

Click on photo for larger view

I wanted to make a baby card and didn't really have a specific stamp set to make one.  I remembered I have Sock Monkey and Sock Monkey Accessories.  I was tickled to see that the Accessories had a rattle and a flag.  I used Teeny Tiny Wishes for the Hello and Baby on the flags.  I used a post it note to cover the part I didn't want inked and stamped the other word with Black Stazon Ink.  I knew I wanted to watercolor after the words were on the flag so chose Black Stazon.  I used reinkers on a plastic lid picked up with the Aqua Brush to watercolor on SU watercolor paper. I think he turned out cute and maybe this card could be for twins!

Tarheel Stamper - Blossom Petals Punch Ballerina Card

Click on photo for larger view.

This card reminds me of a ballerina.  I love how it turned out.  A card I saw recently inspired me to use our Blossom Petals Punch to make the skirt or tutu.  The card used a scallop circle folded in half and pleated.  It was cute!  I wanted to use the Blossom Petals Punch to make one.  I had the idea that it would make a cute ballerina tutu or a fairy's dress.  So what do you think.  I have the directions on a video tutorial using the Blossom Petals punch to make other things along with a flower.  The post with the video is here or you can visit my YouTube channel here.

Tarheel Stamper - Blossom Petal Punch Blue Flower

Hi Stampin' friends,

First my heart and prayers go out to all those affected by the powerful storms that tore through the south this past week and weekend.  Especially hard hit was my state of North Carolina.  At least 62 tornadoes barreled through our state on Saturday.  Lots of damage and loss of property, but sadly many lives were taken.  I pray all of you recover soon and your hearts are comforted.

I am working on a video to show some things you can make with the Blossom Petal Punch like fish, cute ballerina dress, and of course flowers.  I will have the link up soon.

This is the first card on the video.

I love these colors together.  Just seems bright and cherry to me.  Switch out colors to a Subtle color combo and it will be more feminine or could be used for a thinking of you or sympathy card.

Tarheel Stamper - Blossom Petal Punch Card

I love springtime when all the flowers and trees are starting to bloom and wake up from their long winter's nap. My favorite season is summer with spring a close second. This card reminds me of both.  Hope you are having a wonderful spring day wherever you live!

Tarheel Stamper - Razzleberry Flower

Wow I can't believe it has been so long since I posted.  I am in the midst of a flare up of my fibromyalgia so I haven't been able to do much. My sweet husband surprised me for our 30th wedding anniversary , April 6, with 2 floral arrangements delivered to me.  He had to work, but we had a wonderful evening together and plan on going somewhere in June.  Aren't they beautiful!

Now on to the cards and video.  Here is a close up view of the flower.  The video shows how I made the flower. Hope you enjoy it.

Tarheel Stamper - Grease Your Gears Birthday Card

This is a card I made for my husband's boss.  I wanted a simple card without frilly things.  I love that it was easy to punch out and emboss with the Big Shot.  I also used the crimper for the small Soft Suede strip.

Using different textures are great for masculine cards.

Colors are Soft Suede, Green Garden, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, and Crumb Cake.   I used the Color Coach to pick the colors.

Stamp Set is God's Blessings

Accessories are Modern Label punch, crimper, Square Lattice embossing folder, and the Cogs Extra Large Double punch.

Great for masculine cards.
