Video link updated

I replaced the embed code on the video from yesterday's post. I hope this one works for you. I had used the code from our Stampin' Connection website which is a wonderful site for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. Forgive me for it not working for some of you. This is a great video Stampin' Up! put out on YouTube. Have a great stampin' day!

New Stampin' Up! Corner and Border Punches

I have been very sick this past week and not able to do as much stamping as I would like.  I sure miss my stamping therapy!
I wanted to share a video with you from Stampin' Up! on how to use the new Pinking Hearts and Scallop Trim punches.  This is a great video!  You can earn the Scallop Trim border punch free in the Sale-a-bration promotion through March 31, 2010.

Stampin' Up! Shades of Spring Card

Another card for a punch challenge on LNStampers Yahoo Group.  I used the beautiful paper Shades of Spring in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The sentiment and label are from Vintage Labels stamp set you can earn free in the Sale-a-bration mini.

Stampin' Up! Five Petal Flower Punch Card

I love how the flower turned out.  I used a bone folder to curl the top two flowers' petals.  I sponged on all the edges with Regal Rose ink.  The leaves are another Five Petal Flower punched from Certainly Celery and I sponge those with Certainly Celery.

The medallion is punched with the Eyelet Border Punch from a 2 13/16 inch square of Regal Rose.  I centered and punched one time on each side.  There is a small piece left in the corner and I trimmed it.  I love how the medallion looks.

The Designer Series Paper is Shades of Spring from the Occasions mini catalog.  Isn't it pretty?  I ran the Barely Banana card stock through my Big Shot with the Large Dots Texturz plate.  The card base is Pretty in Pink.

So what do you think?  I did this for a Challenge on a Yahoo group - LNS Stampers.  It is a great group.  I have a logo linked on the right side bar.

Have a great stampin' day!

Stampin' Up! Punch Art Frogs

Ribbett!  First time I have used the Fancy Favor Box!  I love it!  This box will hold a lot!  As a challenge for LNStampers yahoo group, I made this box with frogs on it.  We will make the frog on a clip at my upcoming (February 27, 2010) Punch Art Stamp Camp.  I am going to let the attendees pick which one they want to make.  These are not my original ideas.  I found the idea for them on Splitcoast Stampers and tweaked them a bit.  This frog also works well on a scrapbook page.  You can see my scrapbook page post here.  The lily pad is made with the heart from the Movers and Shakers Bigz XL die.  Flower is made with the 5 petal flower punch and a 1/2 inch circle of Summer Sun.

Punch Art Stamp Camp Projects

Gathered these ideas from some very talented ladies.  Connie Babbert came up with the idea of the Owl pouch.  I used a pouch tutorial on SplitCoast Stampers for my pouch and used punches I had for the Owl.  I didn't have the large flower punch she orginally used for the eyes.  The lion link is in a previous post.  I forgot where the baby buggy idea came from.  It is so cute.  Anyway we are making these Saturday at my stamp camp.  If you are in or near Kings Mountain NC and want to come, email me!  Have a great day!

Valentine's Day Treat Pouches

Made these for my sweet hubby, sons, and future daughters. Very simple and easy.  I haven't been able to stamp much this week.  My mother had gall bladder surgery so I was helping to take care of her.  Love her so much and hope she gets better quickly.

Here are some photos of the pouches!  Sorry the lighting isn't very good for these photos.  My lamp is in SC and I am in NC. Wish I could eat some of that chocolate, but I guess it is a good thing I can't.  Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Stampin' Up! Punch Art

I cased this Lion from Kim Score here.  She is a master at this.  Love her work!  Anyway we will be making this lion card at an upcoming Punch Art class this month.  Isn't he cute?  I had to use my scallop circle punch instead of the Fancy Flower punch since I don't have that one.....yet.  LOL    You could use other sentiments with this card. I thought about some "'purrfectly" greetings on the inside.  Haven't decided what I will use for that yet.  If you have some suggestions please leave them in the comments section of this post. I love punches and that flower may have to go onto my wish list.  This is the first card I have had the chance to use the paisly texturz plate.  I love it!  Hope you have a wonderful weekend!  It is raining a lot here and I will be glad for the ground to dry up and to see the sun!  Not complaining just need some sunshine to charge up my batteries!

Stampin' Up! 5th Avenue Floral Birthday Wishes

This is another card I put in the purse tote seen here
I used the Top Note Bigz die to cut out a piece of Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper.  That is one of my go to Bigz Dies. The vellum card stock is embossed with the Finial Press embossing folder with the Big Shot.  Card base is Sahara Sand.  Other card stock colors are Whisper White, Rose Red, and Bermuda Bay.  The flowers are stamped in Bermuda Bay and are from 5th Avenue Floral Set.  I used the Ticket Corner punch on the corners.  What a great value that punch is!  Only $6.95 and the item# is 107214.  You can purchase the supplies for this card through my online store in my Demonstrator Business Website.

Stampin' Up! 5th Avenue Floral Purse Tote with Cards

I think this turned out nicely. More views below this text. Will be giving this one to the lady who had me as their secret sister. Hope she likes it. I really appreciated her gifts and most of all her prayers during the past year. I think this turned out nicely. I didn't want to use bulky embellishments so she wouldn't have to pay extra postage. Also I kept them simple so I could make this quickly.

Have to thank Patty Bennett for her wonderful instructions here. She is so talented and shares so much. Thanks Patty!

Think I might do this as a class and do a matchbook notepad to match for a Mother's Day gift. What do you think?

I used 5th Avenue Floral, Sincere Salutations, and Thoughts and Prayers stamp sets. I just love the patterns and colors in the Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper. The flower is from the Pretties Kit. The butterfly is from the Butterflies Sizzix Bigz Die and I also used the exclusive Top Note Sizzix Bigz Die from Stampin' Up! I used Perfect Dots embossing folder and a pink corduroy button from the Occasions mini. Don't forget Sale-a-bration is going on. For each $50 spent you get to pick a free product from the Sale-a-bration brochure.

Colors used are Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, Rose Red, Whisper White. I used the Wide Oval punch for the handle. I will be sharing the cards in future posts. Thanks for looking and have a happy stampin' day!

Off to work on some wedding invitation samples! And what happened to spell check on the new blogger post editor? Miss it!  Have to copy and paste from Word.

Stampin' Up! Butterflies Sizzix Bigz Die Scrapbook Pages

Here is a another 12" x 12" scrapbook page I made for a Ronald McDonald house project.  I love the Butterflies Sizzix die.  You have several sizes from which to choose.  I layered the smallest butterfly over the medium sized one.  I embossed the small butterfiles with the Perfect Dots Embossing folder available in the Occasion Mini.
The strip at the bottom of the Close to Cocoa 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock is a 1" strip of Regal Rose punched with the Pinking Hearts border punch also available in the Occasions mini.  The small hearts on the strip is the smallest heart on the Heart to Heart punch.  I used the Warm Words stamp set in Rose Red on Regal Rose card stock punching with the Large Oval punch.  That is layered with the Scallop Oval punch in Close to Cocoa.  Hope you enjoy!  Happy Stampin'!
