Sock Monkey Birthday Card

I love the Sock Monkey stamp set. I used retired Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper on the balloons using the paper piercing technique. You can use the paper piecing technique on the monkey also. Paper Piecing is so easy. Just stamp in Basic Black and then trim around the stamped image. It sure makes things go quickly instead of coloring all the images. I colored this one with Aquapainter and ink refills. The Designer Paper is from a previous hostess Level 1 pack. What a cutie he is! I used Whisper White craft ink refill and picked up small amounts with the Aquapainter. I then dabbed the Aquapainter over the gray to make the nobby look of the original socks used to make sock monkeys.

Information about the set is below. See the rest of the stamps in the set below the description.

If you live in the United States you can purchase this set through my Stampin Up! Business Website on the sidebar.
