Tarheel Stamper - Vintage Pottery and Embossing Folder Stamping

Just thought I would share what I learned while making this card.  I posted details on yesterday's post.

For the Vintage Pottery background I used Very Vanilla card stock and used Crumb Cake classic ink.  To get that effect, ink the brayer and roll on the smooth side of the folder.  Then run it through the Big Shot as you normally would.  Here is what you get...piece of highlighted embossed card stock to be used however you want.

Next is what I found out by accident.  I put my paper down in the folder and didn't have it lined up, when I picked it up some of the ink had left a pattern.  So I reinked the folder's smooth side and put the card stock down.  I carefully laid a piece of scrap paper over the card stock and rolled the brayer over several times.  I lifted the paper and card stock and this is what I got.  I think it looks like a stamped image.  Click on the photos for a larger view!  I punched out scallop circles from the embossing folder stamped images to use behind the bird in the card above.

Thanks for looking.
