Stampin' Up! 5th Avenue Floral Purse Tote with Cards

I think this turned out nicely. More views below this text. Will be giving this one to the lady who had me as their secret sister. Hope she likes it. I really appreciated her gifts and most of all her prayers during the past year. I think this turned out nicely. I didn't want to use bulky embellishments so she wouldn't have to pay extra postage. Also I kept them simple so I could make this quickly.

Have to thank Patty Bennett for her wonderful instructions here. She is so talented and shares so much. Thanks Patty!

Think I might do this as a class and do a matchbook notepad to match for a Mother's Day gift. What do you think?

I used 5th Avenue Floral, Sincere Salutations, and Thoughts and Prayers stamp sets. I just love the patterns and colors in the Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper. The flower is from the Pretties Kit. The butterfly is from the Butterflies Sizzix Bigz Die and I also used the exclusive Top Note Sizzix Bigz Die from Stampin' Up! I used Perfect Dots embossing folder and a pink corduroy button from the Occasions mini. Don't forget Sale-a-bration is going on. For each $50 spent you get to pick a free product from the Sale-a-bration brochure.

Colors used are Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede, Rose Red, Whisper White. I used the Wide Oval punch for the handle. I will be sharing the cards in future posts. Thanks for looking and have a happy stampin' day!

Off to work on some wedding invitation samples! And what happened to spell check on the new blogger post editor? Miss it!  Have to copy and paste from Word.
